Concept Sketches - Savastîn

Hey there !
Here are some concept sketches I made for my friend, who is creating a heroic fantasy story. He talked to me about some ideas of wildlife in his world : the savastîn, a group of serpent-like creatures living in forests and marshes !
So I worked on 3 of them (at least, for now !), based on his descriptions. It was a cool sketch/lineart exercise ^^

Koudral : a 6m-long savastîn ! He has horns on the head to attack his preys, and a trifid tail that allows him to anchor himself in the mud of the swamps he live in. An imposing comb follows the shape of his body.

Serden : a vivacious savastîn, with fuzz and a comb dedicated to courtship rituals. He's venomous, and a master in camouflage.

Verdeau : a common and venemous savastîn, with a crest. He's capable to cast spells on his preys.
